Counseling

Counseling is provided by a Program Services Social Worker who counsels Members and helps them understand how their decisions impact not only themselves but also their family. Emphasis is placed on making healthy, responsible decisions leading to appropriate behaviors at work and in life.

Our counseler is experienced in effective parenting skills development, anger management, conflict resolution and problem solving techniques. Additionally, our counselor has worked extensively with individuals on challenging attitudes and beliefs that may interfere with life accomplishments and job success.

Counseling services are only available to Miami Valley Works Members and are free of charge.
